Ruth Stewart, Director

Ruth was born to Christian parents in a small town in Texas and grew up deeply involved in church life, enjoying music, teaching, and leading women’s and children’s groups. She pursued her Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling and dedicated over 30 years to teaching in public schools before starting her private counseling practice in 2002. Her career has always centered on helping others, especially women and children, to heal and grow.

Her personal journey has not been without challenges, as she navigated difficult life experiences, including an abusive marriage. Through God’s guidance, she found healing and strength, turning her pain into purpose. After becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, she focused on bringing hope to women and children in abusive situations, using therapy and creative approaches to aid recovery. Her work has left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Ruth’s heart for missions has taken her to Mexico and Romania, and she looks forward to serving in India. Meeting Anuradha Das at a minister’s conference was a pivotal moment that solidified her passion for working together to uplift women and children. As a director at SilverState City of Grace International Church, Ruth is committed to helping others realize their worth and find restoration through God’s love and grace.
